Brandy Scott is an accomplished interior design and business professional, cultivating meaningful connections through creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen. Her analytical and creative lenses frame over twenty years of experience in luxury hospitality and custom residential design-building including model homes. With successful builder partnerships in addition to a foundation in banking prior to her design career, she manages artistry, feasibility, scheduling, and budgeting considerations. Her knowledge of the custom build process ensures character rich offerings tailored to each client, serving homeowners, general contractors, trades, investors, and developers, yielding refined yet relatable design with a trusted partner.
Brandy leads with strategic vision and drives collaborative execution, translating design concepts to construction, informed by extensive jobsite and project management experience. Inspired by culture, history, and nature, her design embraces people through shared experiences, resulting in intimate spaces. A perpetual learner, she explores human motivations and client lifestyle as foundations for unique interior detailing, innovative & durable application of finishes, thoughtfully curated equipment, functional space planning, and custom furnishings woven into a cohesive narrative reflecting each client.
Brandy’s genuine care for people and integrity of her work builds impactful relationships beyond project completion. Highly reflective, she shares insights from lived experiences, stretching to emerge a better person, growing with others along the way. Brandy integrates work as part of her whole being with time for wellness and community. She resides in McKinney, TX with her husband of more than 20 years, son and two dogs and enjoys writing, tennis, singing and indulging in good food. Her work output is better for all of it. Her career includes owning Brandy Scott Interiors, LLC founded in 2017 as well as tenure at recognized firms ForrestPerkins and LEO A DALY, with roles ranging from interior design, branding, business development, and project management in addition to loan originator and marketing roles at Wachovia Bank, supported with a BFA in Interior Design and BS in Business Management.
